Found this site which is quite good.

You can download these applications onto a USB drive and run them from there. They even have a copy of the "GIMP" which is a pretty good back-up to Photoshop (and free!!!).

You can also get Open Office which is a good open source contender to Microsoft Office.

........And Firefox, which is a good alternative to Internet Exlorer.
